Grooming
 If
your best friend is in need of some pampering our Grooming service
is available at the clinic on Friday and
Saturday. Experienced and qualified dog groomer
Marisa Morrison and Jodie Woods can wash, clip and groom all breeds
of dog to your specific requirements. Due to increasing popularity
it is essential to book your appointment in advance.
Our Hydrobathing service operates 7 days a week by appointment.
All dogs are toweled dry but if required blow-drying, nail clipping
and ear cleaning are also available for an additional fee.

Food and accessories
We have well stocked accessories and premium brand foods and supplements
for all your pets.
Come in and discuss your pet's needs with our friendly and helpful
staff.

Pet scale
You are welcome anytime to use our Pet Scales in our reception area.
If your pet has a weight problem our Nurses and Vets will be happy
to advise on diets if required.

Surgical
We have a fully equipped Surgery where your pet will receive the
best attention with the most modern anaesthetic and monitoring equipment.

Dentistry
 Like
us pets need regular dental check-ups. This is done routinely at
their annual vaccination or any regular check-up. If dental prophylactic
work or more involved procedures are required our IM3 Machine with
Fibre optic attachments ensure your pet receives the best possible
care. |
Radiology
In May 2000, Floreat Veterinary Centre was able to purchase a
human standard X-ray machine and automatic film processor.
For our more medically minded clients, it is a Toshiba DC MB,
125 kVp, 500 ma.
We had to have new heavy gauge electrical wiring installed to
handle the power of the new machine.
The combination of ultravision film, the new X-ray machine and processor
produces diagnostic radiographs of exceptional quality.

 Pathology
Many diagnostic tests can be done at our clinic, but like your G.P.
we also use the expertise of Vetpath a commercial lab where specialist
pathologists can be consulted on a regular basis. This ensures your
pet will receive the most appropriate treatment.

We have a modern, computerised IDEXX blood analyser. This
means we can run blood tests on site and have the results within
30 minutes. It also enable us to perform pre-anaesthetic blood profiles
on the day of surgery which we highly recommend. |
